Murphy's Law

Mur·phy's Law (mûr'fēz) pronunciation

Any of certain humorous axioms stating that anything that can possibly go wrong, will go wrong.

Ah Murphy's Law; that age-old saying that seems to always ring true. Some days it seems that more things than not go wrong. Like today, well...this morning mostly.

One person accidentally overslept, another was missing? And happenstance will have it, we're running out of ink in our inkjet printer. Someone needs to come up with a laser printer that travels well, prints quickly, and faxes or scans. That's what I really need.

Things are shaping up here for us though. Slowly but surely we're embedding ourselves in the garage of this huge house. Folding tables and white rented wedding chairs in all.

Picking up lunch today for 15 different people was a task and a half. The first restaurant wasn't open at opened at 3pm. The second restaurant didn't have everything ready until about 30 minutes after I arrived and then they only had 13 of the 15 meals I needed. Hmmm...who's not getting lunch/dinner today?
